What Does Your Preliminary Service Agreement Include?

When you sign a Preliminary Service Agreement with SA Designer Homes to you get the following for a small fee that comes off the final price of the build contract:

Contour Plan, Preliminary Engineering and Site Works Plan prepared by a Wind Speed Assessment consultant
1 x Set of planning drawings
Application for planning approval to relevant council

How Long Does It Take To Start Construction Of Our New Custom Home Builders Adelaide After Signing The Preliminary Agreement With SA Designer Homes?

When you sign a preliminary agreement with SA Designer Homes to build your new home in Adelaide, it usually takes around 5-6 months to get all approvals to start construction. This does depend on the complexity of the new custom home, councils workloads and your selections.

What Are Your Build Times?

At SA Designer Homes we don’t like to rush your new home build. Our build times for single story homes are about 9 – 10 months, for double storey 10 – 12 months. These times are subject to weather conditions as building in Adelaide can be difficult in winter and summer because of the climate.

What Do You Offer As Turn Key?

We can offer you a turn key solution. For a turn key product, you get the following:

Timber laminate floating main floor and carpet to bedrooms
Storm water and pump as per council requirements
Concrete paths and driveway (including council crossover)
Landscaping, Fencing and Rainwater Tanks NOT included

Can I Get A Copy Of Your Floor Plans?

We respect the privacy of our clients and consider the floor plans their property. Although we can’t send you a copy, you are more than welcome to come into our office, by appointment, and have a look for inspiration.

What is Your Point of Difference?

At SA Designer Homes, we are a small, passionate team. We don’t have a sales department nor will you be given the run-around to find an answer or obtain any help. Our supervisors provide you with weekly updates to ensure you are kept informed of how your build is progressing.

Best builders in Adelaide! We do all of peters painting work and we know when he calls us up for a job that it’s going to be neat, clean and 100% ready for us to do our thing. As a first home owner I was excited but hesistant to build - there are plenty of horror stories. I spoke to several builders at the start. One was a 'big' builder but it felt very impersonal and that they didnt really care. When I contacted Peter from SA Designer Homes he was very approachable and understood what my partner and I wanted - it was a good feeling from the start and I'm happy to say that feeling stayed until the end. What really stood out was the communication - Peter is always available to chat or meet up and answer any queries. It really made the process so enjoyable and smooth - we always knew what was going on He went above and beyond his role as we sorted our way through all the things we didnt know as first time land and home owners (thankyou!) If there was a problem it was sorted (and explained) quickly. The end product is a high quality custom made home. It may not be the cheapest if we'd gone with the big builders who make 200+ homes a year but it was still affordable and finished to a high standard. I am so glad we chose SA Designer Homes and we will definitely build with Peter and his team again

Building a house is quite a complex process and completing a build on time, on budget and without having to reach for the valium to bring down the stress levels is rare - SA designer Homes managed to do it and made it look easy. Peter, the principal of SADH, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us some excellent advice over the course of the build and as he was also our site manger we could contact him with any issues which he generally resolved very quickly - every time! Communication is first rate coupled with his own very high standards and good sense of humour certainly made him a pleasure to work with.Overall, a good experience with a great result.

We contacted multiple builders and all but 1 actually didn't even get back to us. When I was told of SA Designer Homes we made contact and from the first chat we were informed of everything and given a price that was followed through on. Communication was outstanding and the house was built in great time and quality is great. I cant reccommend SA Designer Homes enough.
